My concept for assignment one was creating a texture on garments that translated the idea of tree bark and the ridges created through growth. The idea that a tree stands tall and strong in every landscape is what I want the customer to feel when they put on my garments. The woman who wears my designs is confident, individualistic, and edgy and someone that has fun with what they wear and feel powerful in their clothing they chose.
