Photos from the Botanical Gardens

I took these images on various visits to the Wellington Botanical Gardens, I was inspired by the beautiful big trees that stand in the gardens. The trees had a dominating towering presence that interested me and sparked an interest for me! I focused mainly on trees and the interesting bark that covered them.
Worms eye view of a large magnolia tree, which created a beautiful silhouette.

this is a close up of tree bark mould that had turned red and yellow (I have increased the contrast of saturation to bring out the colours)




A great example of the dominating presence of these trees.












The Following images are ones I have altered on Photoshop, playing with the colours, saturation, contrast and filters. Possible images for my concept board...
